I visited the venue of the "Getting Nigerian Businesses Online"(GNBO) 5 day event (at Grandeur Events Centre at Billings way, Oregun) on day 2 - Tuesday 1st November 2011 - and was intrigued by the turnout of Nigerian business owners to take advantage of the offer: Everybody loves freebies!

Recently, I took it upon myself to investigate the top 3 most common Website Content Management Systems (CMS) used online. Following a 3 hours follow through on Google results pages, I narrowed down to (1) Drupal (2) Joomla! (3) Word Press. Personally, and this appears to be confirmed by most of the pages I visited, I would say the average website owner that desires to have a dynamic, database driven website that s/he can control without needing to become a technical whiz kid, will find 2 and 3 most appealing. We can safely say that Drupal is generally for people with developer level competencies.
